SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE cements Miles Morales as not just this generation's Spider-Man, but the Spider-Man of future generations, too. Our own Sanford Greene plays a significant role, creating art for the movie AND for the merchandising you're seeing everywhere now. Including the iconic Nike Air Jordan sneaker.

As Sanford tells us, he was personally recruited by the film's director to provide key art. Tomorrow, we will be offering the original art featuring comic and movie characters who have become beloved around the world.
Our comic book art hobby is almost entirely centered around American comic books, with an audience mostly limited to English-language speaking countries. Movies, however, are universal and are seen by a worldwide audience. The most significant Miles Morales original art to date has been the first appearance comic book cover. However, there is no question that Sanford's art for the movie and merchandise/collectibles will be seen by far more people, and have a far greater impact. Everyone loves this movie (with a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score), but kids especially: SPIDER-VERSE is their STAR WARS. These images and this art will be imprinted upon their brains forever.
This may end up being the most globally significant art we've ever offered. Fittingly, Sanford drew each piece on full-size 11X17 art board. There are two main cover images, but every piece is cover-worthy. Miles...Gwen...Spider-Punk...Spider-Man 2099...Scarlet Spider...Spider-Man: India...Jessica Drew...and more...all forever immortalized by Sanford.
