First post-SDCC art drop announcement!: STEPHEN GREEN's original art for IMPACT WINTER #1 drops tomorrow, Friday, July 29th, at 9AM PST/12PM EST!
Following up his own SEA OF STARS with a stint on HELLBOY, Stephen was recruited by Skybound to bring to life their latest hit property: IMPACT WINTER. From the hit factory of THE WALKING DEAD, INVINCIBLE, EXTREMITY, ULTRAMEGA, and more! Below is a press release from Skybound during SDCC promoting IMPACT WINTER #1. The issue was overprinted and has already sold out!
If you've followed Stephen's career, then you know that he's the perfect artist to conceptualize new worlds (again...SEA OF STARS!). He gives it his all to IMPACT WINTER #1. Tomorrow, ALL 36 pages PLUS the cover will be available. Really some of the most gorgeous art of Stephen's career...and that's saying something! Grab a copy, make your wish list, and set your alarms! Time payment plans available with prior approval. Thanks everyone, see you tomorrow!

I’m reaching out to share a press recap in support of Impact Winter #1. It currently holds a very strong 8.8/10 rating across rated reviews, with aggregate sentiment reflecting high praise for Travis’ ability to write across formats alongside Stephen's distinct art style, a desire for more comics in this world, and piqued interest in the Audible series for the previously uninitiated.
We kicked off the press campaign with an IGN exclusive announcement and then previewed the issue exclusively with Screen Rant, with both news drops receiving extensive pickup. As we neared our July 13 release, Impact Winter #1 was a featured pick in many pull lists and top comics roundups (Highlights: AIPT Comics, Capes and Tights, The Stranger). In addition to great reviews, Impact Winter #1 has also seen quite a bit of coverage over the last week as a tentpole of Skybound’s SDCC presence (Highlights: The Beat, Comicon, Major Spoilers).
