This 14"X17" beauty was created by Tradd JUST for this event! And he spared no effort in making sure he presented his best work possible, taking an entire week to draw this piece. Although I told Tradd that even something basic would be perfect, he has just one speed. It's certainly not basic. You can watch him talk about it during our COMIC ART LIVE chat on YouTube. I cannot thank Tradd enough for this unparalleled act of kindness and generosity.
In 2019, Marvel commissioned Tradd to draw a cover for MARVEL TEAM-UP featuring Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel. He presented them with several layouts. They did not choose his preferred one. So he took this opportunity to finish the cover that HE wanted to do. This isn't just peak Tradd; this is Tradd setting out to prove a point.
His contribution to our NAACP benefit auctions this past summer netted $12000. Since then, his market has gone supernova. Beyond the public sales you've seen on my site, I've also helped broker private sales for his personal art in recent weeks that are simply mind-boggling. (These sales will be reported to CAF Dealer Market Data once the transactions have been completed.)
Tradd has never been prolific. Chances to acquire his art are few and far between (not surprisingly, his commission list is full for years). This is an opportunity.
