Thanks to all who checked out our Tradd Moore SILVER SURFER: BLACK original art drop today! We released 55 pieces...and every single one of them SOLD! Enjoy the scans here:

And with that, every single piece from the ENTIRE series has now sold! Congrats to Tradd! And congrats to all the collectors who were able to get something from this crazy series!
With over 400 requests today for only 55 pieces, though, many collectors were shut out. We are truly sorry about that; as fellow collectors, we understand the pain that comes with losing out on a desired piece of art! But there were only so many pieces to go around.
We've gotten several recurring questions/concerns from collectors today, mostly those new to the site/process, so I will try to answer them here:
1. Just adding the art to the cart does not mean you will get it. The order needs to be submitted for the site to register it. All orders are time-stamped by the site. In the case of multiple requests for the same item, the first submitted order gets the art.
2. When there is more than one request for the same piece, we will NOT go to a bidding system, as some are requesting. The first person to submit their order, gets the art. We prefer to have the fastest collector get the art, not always the one with the deepest pockets.
3. If you've missed out on several pieces, it's not personal. There was just someone else faster. I sell art to the fastest buyer. That's it. Some of the biggest collectors in the hobby are my friends, and they play by the same rules. It's fair to everyone.
4. There have been some issues with orders coming to me blank. I have been working with the site host to figure out why this has been happening. We've increased bandwidth for the site in case it's a traffic problem. However, we now believe this is happening for some orders that have been placed via mobile devices (smartphone, tablet). Please know we are continuing to work on resolving this.
5. Lastly, to best see all new art at the drop, refresh the
UPDATES tab. That works better than refreshing the artist's gallery.
Those who participate in these drops often will confirm that it's win some, lose some. That's just how it goes, especially when demand is this heavy. Thanks to everyone for understanding!
