Five years in the making, PRECIOUS METAL is Ian's followup/prequel to the Eisner Award-winning LITTLE BIRD (Best Limited Series 2020). Beyond the Eisner, LITTLE BIRD's many successes include widespread critical acclaim, a gallery show in France...and all original art 100% sold out. 151/151 pieces sold. With PRECIOUS METAL, Ian set out to top LITTLE BIRD.
With this art, we believe he has achieved that goal. Where LITTLE BIRD was created under deadlines, Ian made sure to take his time with PRECIOUS METAL. Not only would each page be drawn at over twice the size of LITTLE BIRD, each page would be perfect. The first three issues of PRECIOUS METAL were pre-sold complete so that Ian could self-finance his vision. PRECIOUS METAL #4 may be the strongest issue yet.
