For the first time in over a year...all-new JEFFREY ALAN LOVE original art will drop tomorrow, Saturday, March 13th, at 9AM PST/12PM EST! Our most comprehensive selection of JAL art ever! And for the first time...sketches!
Yes, that's right. Jeffrey has created a series of 5.5"X5.5" sketches just for fans. These will be very affordable options that he was planning to do for his convention debut with us at SDCC. Well, no SDCC this year...so now everyone has a shot!
If you're new to Jeffrey's work, check out what some notable fans have to say about his art:
Jeffrey Alan Love's fables combine stunning, museum-worth graphics with foreboding, magical narrative. He can elicit dread, wonder, and ectasy in equal measure. - Guillermo del Toro
What is there to say? Jeffrey Alan Love is just plain brilliant. - Mike Mignola
Love's strange imagery comes in like transmissions from an arid, alien landscape. The message is ancient, the script encoded, the picture is dusty and bold. Most highly recommended. - Paul Pope
Jeffrey Alan Love is the honest to God absolute Real Deal. - Bill Sienkiewicz
Jeffrey Alan Love, writing as an endlessly fascinated amnesiac, fills his notebook with fragments of observation, pieces of behaviour, gods, strangeness and charm, in a desperate attempt to make sense of it all. To create a kind of personal tarot out of these icons and wastrels. And the strangest thing is I get the sense he's walking around his hometown of St. Louis, sketching from life - sitting on the pavement, smudging his raw materials, turning neighbors into spirits and dogs into demons. Jeffrey's haunted silhouetted world is a recent discovery for me, but like a great old battered European city, I want to excavate more and more of it. - Dave McKean
Two quick takes regarding The Thousand Demon Tree: 1) Jeffrey Alan Love is one hell of a storyteller. He's created a rich, emotional, totally immersive epic composed completely of imagery, and 2) any serious student of design would do well to pay attention. I know I am! - Mark Schultz
There's more, but you get the idea! Jeffrey's work doesn't become available often, so don't miss this opportunity tomorrow. Refresh the UPDATES tab to see all the new art at the drop. Time payment plan is available with prior approval. Thanks, see you tomorrow, and good luck!
