Riley Rossmo ROBIN KING update: ALL SOLD! + New Podcast!

Our Riley Rossmo ROBIN KING #1 art drop today is 100% SOLD OUT! All 30+ pieces (including the cover, which sets a new record for Riley!). Thanks to all who checked in today, and congrats to everyone who scored a page!

As well...sorry to all who didn't. That we had a sell out for this art is probably no surprise to longtime followers, as we sell out our drops more often than not. But as always for big books like ROBIN KING #1, there will be newcomers who aren't used to this type of extreme demand...and the speed required to win.

This is why I tried to give everyone fair warning ahead of time with two newsletters for ROBIN KING #1, so everyone could adequately prepare...for either outcome. I also limited the drop time announcement to newsletter subscribers only, and not the general public. In the end, though, there are only so many pages. So not everyone will be able to come away with something, despite their best efforts.

Most people accept this. However, there will be frustration, which I totally understand. There might also, unfortunately, be anger. I do my best to talk things through with those fans. If you have something you want to get off your chest, it's OK!

What I hope everyone realizes is that no one wins every time. But by the same token, no one loses every time, either. It's win some, lose some. For everyone. From the biggest collector to the smallest. Yes, I know that can be maddening. But it's at least fair. First submitted request gets the art.

For those who don't want to duke it out at the drop, or risk losing the art they must have, a complete issue purchase is an option. Otherwise, I will continue to leave things as they are for everyone. Our poll about this last time was 100% unanimous in support of that. I have no plans to pre-sell individual pieces. I have no current plans to institute an auction format. As always, if anything changes, you will all be the first to know. Thanks everyone...now back to packing your orders!

David is a big reason why I started collecting comic art. He's one of the biggest art collectors EVER in this hobby.
