Nick Derington / Tradd Moore NAACP benefit auctions start NOW!

Our benefit auctions for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund conclude with new contributions from NICK DERINGTON and TRADD MOORE...our 10th and FINAL round starts NOW!

When we started these auctions, it was a scramble to gather art from everyone FAST so we could get things going. The artists were all very generous in finding available art to donate. There wasn't much time for anyone to create anything new, just for this effort. Some were able to that (like Nick Dragotta and Mike Huddleston), but it wasn't easy. However, two guys REALLY wanted to do something special for the cause...and that was Nick Derington and Tradd Moore. And here they are, finished just in time to be the last two auctions to wrap up this epic three week event.

Nick chose to recreate perhaps the most memorable page from Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's classic BATMAN: YEAR 100. Quite fitting. And he goes one better than standard pen/ink: He also painted it. This is full-size 11X17. I'd be proud to have this framed and hung on my wall. Now you have the opportunity to do that AND help the cause! If you ever wanted to feel good about buying art...here's your chance!

Tradd was so eager to contribute art, that he didn't just do one piece...he did two! A Peter Parker Spider-Man AND a Miles Morales Spider-Man. Each is 9X12. We debated offering these separately...but they really do belong together as a set, consistent with Tradd's creative intent. And what a beautiful set. He's inscribed each piece to commemorate this moment in history. These, too, would be amazing framed together on your wall. Your winning bid gets both pieces. I'm already jealous of whomever gets to add these to their collection!

All our previous auctions have been for one day... but we look at this incredible art as our grand finale, and will let them go TWO FULL days. So you all have time to carefully consider your bids. This isn't just great art; they are also important and historic in their own way. Both auctions will end on Wednesday June 24th, at 5PM PDT/8PM EDT. Remember, ALL proceeds go to the NAACP! PLEASE help spread the word!

(IMPORTANT NOTE: All winners will donate directly to the NAACP via a link we provide, so any tax deductible amount is yours. (Please consult your CPA first!) As well, for those who have employers who will match donations, we will consider that part of your bid. So please contact us before bidding if you plan to utilize that. Thanks!)
