Ian Bertram LITTLE BIRD update!

Wow. We just dropped Ian Bertram's LITTLE BIRD #5 original art complete issue, and within 30 minutes, we're almost all sold out. 32 out of 35 pieces sold. We will likely be 100% sold out soon. Another incredible turnout for Ian!

This means that out of 147 total pieces we've had on the site, 144 have sold. This doesn't include the 30+ pieces we sent to France for a gallery show...which also resulted in a sell-out.

Ian first came to everyone's attention with his stint drawing Batman and Catwoman arcs in DETECTIVE COMICS and BATMAN ETERNAL. But it was HOUSE OF PENANCE that announced his arrival to comics cognescenti. Indeed, he became one of the few Americans to ever be nominated for the Angouleme International Comics Festival Prize for HOUSE OF PENANCE, perhaps the greatest honor in the world of comics.

And now, LITTLE BIRD. The sky's the limit for Ian and his talent.

But if you have your heart set on LITTLE BIRD, I'm happy to tell you that Ian is gathering up sketches and prelims, and we are aiming to have those available for fans by the end of the year. They will be very budget-friendly, too. Also, remember what I said about the giant 18"X24" pages from LITTLE BIRD #5 being a clue? Well, I can now tell you that Ian is drawing ALL the pages from his upcoming project PRECIOUS METAL #1 (with LITTLE BIRD collaborator Darcy Van Poelgeest) on 18"X24" board! All-in-all, PRECIOUS METAL is set to be one of the major comic and original art events of 2020. We look forward to bringing it to you.
