Finally! Filipe Andrade's CAPTAIN MARVEL original art drops tomorrow, Wednesday August 21st, at 9AM PDT/12PM EDT!
Since we brought Filipe onboard in 2016, fans have been asking for his CAPTAIN MARVEL art. No wonder, as his collaboration with writer Kelly Sue DeConnick is considered THE definitive run for the character. Indeed, if not for this landmark, character-defining run, we may not have gotten the recent CAPTAIN MARVEL movie...which firmly cements Carol Danvers as a key member of the Marvel Universe.
This work has always been most special to Filipe, and he hasn't wanted to let it go...until now. We will be releasing an issue's worth of art tomorrow. Each page is gorgeous. Check out what the great site Comics Alliance had to say about Filipe's art when it came out in 2013:
While Andrade is still a relative newcomer, what he has in common with these more established artists is -- without sacrificing clarity -- a daring, utterly audacious approach to figures and storytelling that confounds the reader's expectations for a modern cape comic. You can get impeccably drafted, photorealistic and cinematically rendered superhero action in any number of Marvel or DC comics, but on virtually every level Captain Marvel offers the capes fan something he or she rarely gets to see: a properly kick-ass, takes-her-cat-to-the-vet super-heroine drawn not just respectfully, but truly awesomely.

In Tradd Moore news, we can confirm that SILVER SURFER: BLACK #3 has sold complete. All issues have sold complete so far. However, we are still planning to break up one upcoming issue.
