Skottie Young is an award-winnning writer, illustrator, and cartoonist whose work has topped the New York Times Best Seller list and drawn acclaim worldwide with unique art style and stories. For nearly fifteen years he has illustrated and written fan favorite characters including Spider-Man, Avengers, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy, Magneto, the X-Men, and much more for Marvel Entertainment.
Skottie illustrated six graphic novels adapting the OZ books by L. Frank Baum, winning him multiple prestigious Eisner Awards, including one for Best Artist of the Year. Many of his OZ books spent months on the New York Times Best Sellers List, as did the children’s novel he illustrated, FORTUNATELY, THE MILK, written by Neil Gaiman.
Most recently, Skottie wrote and illustrated the series ROCKET RACCOON for Marvel Entertainment. His covers for Marvel have become some of the most sought after comics in the industry. Having done over one hundred covers in two years, he has put his stamp on nearly ever character Marvel has in their catalog.
He has recentlu completed writing and illustrating his own series I HATE FAIRYLAND for Image Comics.
He lives in Illinois with his wife, two sons, and two dogs.
